Fashion is my tool to explore and show identity. My design aesthetic comes from my Taiwanese American background, a blend of eastern and western elements. I focus on functionality and motion, exploring how garments flow and change as the wearer moves. I learned many new skills through this program, and I’m excited to keep designing.

My designs emphasize the power of the divine feminine, embracing the duality of women: being powerful and unyielding while remaining gentle and kind-hearted. I want people to see my designs and feel inspired to wear whatever it is that they love, and not feel afraid of wearing an outfit because they think it’s “too sexy” or “too old” for them. Wear the clothing that makes you feel like you! 

We aren’t promised another day so if you can express your truest self through your style, you might as well wear it with confidence— or at least try it on— because you’ll never know your own power until you try.
